The Water's Getting Warmer!

It hasn't been the warmest summer we've seen in Portland, in fact it's hardly close. We've made sure to take advantage of the sun when we can though, and that means boating whenever possible. Here's a few more recent shots of our Columbia adventures - I really love how the last couple of shots turned out!

It's about time...

I know it's been a while since I've posted - and this is seriously lame of me, as I have had several shoots and events which I should be posting. Backtrack with me a bit?

Here's a couple shots from a second shoot with Emma (the last one is my favorite):

Emma

This week I've had the opportunity to shoot a friend of mine - Emma. Using a bedroom as our studio, I was able to get some good headshots. Hopefully we'll do some outdoor shooting soon, if the weather gets nicer...

Pre-Season Wakeboarding

Got to go out on the river this weekend! It's still very cold out, and was quite windy, but we had fun - the boys and Jenny were even brave enough to test the waters.

Lesley & Aaron: Engaged PART 2

More photos from the shoot:

Lesley & Aaron: Engaged PART 1

This weekend I had the incredible privilege to shoot my dear cousin and her fiance! We shot in the Eastside Industrial area and got a little help to get on top of the Olympic Mills building for some extra cool backdrops.

The Brothers Bloom

I haven't even finished watching this movie and I know 2 things for sure:
1) I love Adrien Brody (not that that's new)
2) I love Rachel Weisz

I can't say the plot has quite sucked me in yet - I'm kind of multitasking and don't feel super connected to it... I can tell it's quirky, which I usually like but it's just not grabbing me. I mean I still have over half the movie to watch, but I'm feeling like I WANT to like it, but it feels like somethings missing for me at this point still. I don't know. I really didn't come to write a blog post about the plot anyways. I came to write a blog post about the visual aspect.

The wardrobe in the movie is wonderful. I literally want every outfit I see in it. It's got kind of this old-fashioned but timeless feel to it, and there's very modern elements too.

It's also set in some beautiful Eastern European cities which gives a wonderful backdrop to the outfits.

That's really all I have to say right now. Just wanted to share the eye-candy...
